Emirates Business Class on the A380 Is It Really That Good

I went digging through old footage and found this absolute gem. Emirates business class on the A380 flying from Dubai to Singapore. Seven hours of comfort, space, and that unmistakable Emirates premium feel.

From walking up the iconic staircase to settling into one of the widest business class seats in the sky, this flight had everything. Massive legroom, proper storage, a mini desk, touchscreen controls, and a seat that turns into a fully flat bed.

The cabin was quiet, the lighting was customisable, and even the window views felt different on this aircraft. Then there is the onboard bar. Not for drinks for me, just the space, the vibe, and that moment where you forget you are even on a seven hour flight.

This was filmed back in 2023 on my way back to Singapore from Germany, and honestly, Emirates business class is on another level.

I Tried Subway’s New Zesty Lime Sandwiches, Here’s the Truth

Today I tried the new Subway Zesty Lime range in Singapore.

Zesty Lime Roast Chicken and Zesty Lime Roast Duck both sound exciting on paper, but the reality was very different.

No customisation allowed; dry chicken and frozen-tasting duck; the only standout was the white macadamia cookie.

Is Subway moving too far away from what people actually love?

% Arabica Singapore Review, Finally A Smooth Latte

I need to say this out loud.
I have tried a lot of coffee in Singapore and I keep leaving disappointed.
Beautiful cafés, aesthetic cups, but the coffee is often too acidic and too sharp for my taste.

Then there is % Arabica.
Smooth, balanced, easy to drink, and it actually works with milk.

This made me realise something.
I do not hate Singapore coffee.
I just love New Zealand style coffee.

Back home, a flat white is chocolatey, nutty, low acidity, pure comfort.
In Singapore, many cafés roast very light on purpose, great for black coffee lovers, not great if you want comfort in a cup.

So maybe I am not wrong.
Maybe % Arabica really is as good as it gets for my taste.
Or maybe I still have not found the right spot.

This Limited Edition Cinnabon Apple Crumble Bon Is Dangerous

I was walking through Newmarket, not even hungry, and then that smell hit me. Cinnamon sugar butter. You already know what happened next. I spotted a limited edition Apple Crumble Bon at Cinnabon and had to try it. Classic cinnamon roll loaded with spiced apples, caramel, and crumble. Soft, warm, comforting, and honestly dangerous.

This was filmed at Cinnabon Newmarket inside Westfield Auckland. If you love cinnamon rolls or anything apple crumble related, this one is worth your attention. Limited edition usually means limited time.

Wynyard Quarter Walk, Food Views and the Calm Side of Auckland

Today I ended up in Wynyard Quarter, one of those places that don't try too hard but somehow get everything right.

From calm blue water and boats gently moving, to the little tram rolling past, inviting you to slow down, Wynyard Quarter feels like the city pressing pause for a moment.

You smell seafood from the fish market, see grills working overtime, then suddenly notice people swimming in an actual harbour pool with the Auckland skyline right behind them.

Over at Silo Park, families relax on the grass, kids run around, and sometimes there is a movie or live music, sometimes there is nothing at all, and that is the magic.

Food vendors, waterfront restaurants, marina views, and when the sun sets, everything changes. Conversations slow, the water glows, and nobody seems in a hurry anymore.

This is the kind of place you come for a walk and end up staying for hours.

I walked into Ela Greek thinking, Ten-dollar lunch in Singapore, what is the catch?

You get a rice bowl with chicken and a tea house brew included. I added beef kofta for two dollars, and here is the honest review.

The kofta was okay, a bit too much bulgur, not enough meat flavour. Rice was fine, salad was fresh, and it only really came together when mixed.

Not a wow meal, but for fourteen fifty after GST and service charge, dine in with a drink, it is hard to argue with.

Great decor, relaxed vibe, solid value lunch.

Using Kuala Lumpur MRT Instead of Traffic-Heavy Travel Guide

Some of you told me to travel more and eat less, so today I am taking you underground in Kuala Lumpur to show you the MRT.

In Europe, you call it the Metro; it is called MRT, same idea, underground trains, no traffic stress.

The biggest surprise was the price. Just RM1.20 per person for two stations. Cheaper than coffee and way faster than sitting in Kuala Lumpur traffic.

The stations are spotless, modern, air-conditioned, and incredibly easy to use, even if it is your first time visiting the city.

Travel tip.
When I travel, I use my wife’s Wise card so I can track spending, get near Google exchange rates, and freeze the card instantly if anything feels off.

Dutch Pancakes Oreo Pistachio Biscoff at Atmosphere

I have been hearing about Atmosphere for a while, and somehow just never went. Until now.
This is Atmosphere, right on the corner of Remuera Road in Newmarket, Auckland.

Relaxed vibes, proper dessert energy, and a menu made for sharing.

We kept it light so we could try more. Dutch pancakes with mixed toppings, Oreo, pistachio, Biscoff sauce, and crumble. Thinner than regular pancakes, more crepe-like, and honestly, it works.

Biscoff was my favourite, pistachio came second, and Oreo still delivered.

We added a butterscotch shake, creamy, rich, and dangerously good.

The total was twenty-seven dollars and fifty for both, and yes, worth it.

Uyghur Hand Pulled Noodles and Lamb Skewers in Albany

I came back here for one reason, to bring my wife.

This is JadeTown Uyghur Cuisine in Albany, Auckland.

If you watched my earlier video, you know I visited their Dominion Road branch before. Same halal Uyghur comfort food, different location.

We ordered lamb skewers, prawn skewers, lamb ribs, fried lamb dumplings, and spicy hand pulled Uyghur noodles.

The lamb was rich and juicy, the dumplings were full of flavour, and the noodles were the kind you keep thinking about after you leave, Name confusion aside, I would still come back.
